			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I’m sitting on the toilet, it’s six thirty AM, and I’m thinking about how good it is to be relieving myself of bodily toxins early in the morning. I’m going to have a good day.&nbsp; I’m remembering the lessons I learned while living alone in the bush and having time to understand my body and its functions.&nbsp; I remember that I fell asleep last night while watching the news thinking “what a complicated world we live in. Can we possibly extricate ourselves from the web of social and material disaster that we have created?” I believe that this exercise in bowel movement also cleared my brain for a moment to allow me to think clearly.</p>
<p>The settling of America (in particular) is quite peculiar in itself. People seeking new lands due to persecution, perceived persecution, prosecution, adventure, opportunity, or whatever, found this land and assumed that they could just move in and start a new life. Now this was a strange assumption in the first place because even in the lands where they came from property had to be earned and bought or at least traded for. Due to the generosity of some of the people already living here they were allowed to start up a new life as best they could. Now to digress for a moment, one thing I don’t understand is why did they start in a cold place? Why didn’t they start in a tropical place where they at least would not have to suffer the trials of shelter and clothing? Even in Europe there was a north and a south where even the most ignorant would know it was cold in the north and warm in the south. I think an immediate migration to the south would have been reasonable.</p>
<p>Now the Native Americans already living here didn’t believe that there was ownership of land, there were tribal boundaries, sacred lands, and places of spiritual and special use that were protected, but what the newcomers did was to start fencing and claiming land for personal use and private consumption without regard for the original inhabitants or each other. No macrobiotic wellbeing program was established, and harmony between mankind and nature was basically lost as the original settlements failed miserably for a variety of reasons. Is it any wonder?</p>
<p>Our ownership society has currently brought us to a point in life that is untenable. We keep reshuffling the cards to make it seem alright but it will continue to be a house of cards that we are constructing. We started off with an improper premise that we deserve whatever we can get through seduction, oppression, bribery, coercion, cronyism and war. How can we expect things to go right?</p>
<p>All of the lands (properties) which are constantly in contention were confiscated and then divided up with someone assuming authority over it while doling it out with the audacity to make papers for it and call it official claims and deeds. Now our society is struggling to “pay the mortgage”. “Foreclosure” is imminent. “The nations and the world’s economy are in danger”. Big freaking deal! Who gives a crap? Now I know why this all came to me while I was sitting on the toilet. The economy all needs to go to hell. We need to be brought to our knees so we can see what a foolish mess that we have allowed ourselves to get into and begin to climb out of it. We need to cleanse ourselves of some of the effluvia of society, government&nbsp; and life that is clogging our collective bowels and making us unhealthy.</p>
<p>Simplicity in life seems to have been lost as we weave our webs of society and culture. In life we need shelter, healthy food, pure water, fresh air, purpose, exercise, harmony. We need to respect “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. We need to believe that “All men [and women] are created equal”. We need to be our brother’s keeper. It is in the exercise of, and the adherence to, these principles, that we tend to get lost. Honesty, integrity and respect for one another have waned, hence, 1,143,358 Lawyers as of 2007 in the US alone. The &#8220;true size&#8221; of the federal government stands at 14.6 million employees, [Paul C. Light, a government professor at New York University].&nbsp; The federal budget in 2007 was 2730 billion dollars and things are looking much worse for this year and the next. The current bailout of the financial system has every taxpayer currently owing over five thousand dollars to pay the debt while unemployment rises, loans default, credit fails, and people cannot pay their bills. Endemic as it is, the problems carry to all parts of the world with few exceptions. Only those who have little, have little or nothing to lose. Those who choose to live off of the land, and those who are condemned to do so, remain untouched by this human dilemma, but that leaves the rest of us to suffer the consequences of the actions or inactions of ourselves and our elected decision makers.</p>
<p>The complicity of our economic systems and social governing, all based on trust and mis-trust are clogging and bankrupting our lives and currently we are suffering a national constipation <br />(back to the toilet analogy).&nbsp; The fluidity of our lives is slowing to a great stop. Money and trade are like the blood flow of our economy which represents the health of our nation. Our hearts would not work with just a promise of blood to flow to it; it requires the reality of the flow. Our economy, likewise is suffering from the lack of integrity, honesty, and intuitive care for the well being of our prosperity. We have clogged it with a credit crisis. We have caused this by failure to use common sense and perception of right and wrong. We have failed to make our own decisions, following others and allowing them to think for us, and always looking for a way to make easy money and be lazy.&nbsp; We are constantly looking for someone else to take care of us, coddle us and watch out for us, hence, the large government, entitlement mentality, excess of lawyers, and huge debt.</p>
<p>Even as our Christian founders believed about themselves that they were imperfect sinners at birth, our nation was founded from a default position with a bill of rights intended at the premise that our founders knew that we were destined to fail in personal and moral ways, so why would we be bewildered at the condition and position of our nation and the world today? It was predestined. </p>
<p>Those people who are considered centrists today are the radicals of yesterday. Creating paper money, leaving the gold system, creating an international credit dependency, hedging, dealing futures, insurance, these were all radical ideas in the past, and for good reason. Now they are all accepted practices and normal in the world’s daily transactions along with many other paper or cyber manipulations of economy that mostly exist on paper or in the nebula of cyberspace. Without the bulge of our pockets it’s hard to tell how much money we have. We have to rely on anonymous sources to keep us advised of our wealth, assets, and debits even as individuals. Think about government accountability. Think about those times when you make an error in your checkbook or overspend your budget. What about those times you purchase something impulsively that you really don’t need? Now multiply that by a million, no a billion, no! a trillion. That’s our government in action. Just a bunch of people like you and I screwing up just a little. It’s huge and that is why we need small government. We elected them and approved them, we support them and they are taking our life’s blood…our hard earned money. All of these politicians and government employees do nothing more than manage the monster that we have created, born of greed and laziness. </p>
<p>Our national prosperity was not created by government. It was created by freedom, inventiveness, industry, entrepreneurship, and just plain hard work. Our freedom and prosperity, as well as our natural resources, are the envy of other nations so we do need a national military, but how on earth did our government get involved in education?, infrastructure?, health and welfare?, transportation?, energy? These are projects that are best left up to private sector, state organizations and industry. Intelligence and creativity should not be left up to politicians many of whom have never worked a day in the practical and social atmosphere that is necessary to learn and apply common sense and problem solving.&nbsp; With the exception of an interstate highway which was created for national protection, what is the need for national government intervention in our lives? It is a monster that we created that now takes a large portion of our personal wealth (forcibly) with a huge and totally unnecessary IRS cost, and pisses it away as we watch and do nothing.</p>
<p>Initially our confederation and ultimately federation was formed to centralize resolve for empowering us to go to war, have a unified foreign policy, and to resolve conflicts between states. Congress is nothing more than the states voting on what the federal government should do. One of the most important amendments to the constitution is rarely quoted, it is the 9th amendment which states “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people”. The “others” that are referred to are our inalienable rights otherwise known as freedom and liberty.&nbsp; We have slowly but surely self usurped ourselves hoping the “Big Poppa” of government will take care of our every need.</p>
<p>Our government now is huge and involved in almost every aspect of our lives. Why? It reminds me of a stop light I encountered in a remote area once. I assume it was put there because a relative of some politician was killed or injured there. You could see clearly for at least a mile in every direction, long before the intersection but when I arrived at the light I stopped because it was red. It didn’t change so I waited for about five minutes and eventually went through it having an epiphany thinking about how controlled we were becoming mentally by being reduced to not having to reason and use our common sense. We are allowing ourselves to be controlled by all of the signs and lights and constant direction. I envisioned an animated M.C.Esher drawing of automobiles with people all over the planet starting and stopping in various directions, all in unison, all at the same time. I didn’t see another car for at least a half hour of driving. Much of my childhood was spent in towns with no stop lights or signs. You actually had to pay attention to traffic, slow down and look to see if it was clear and if it was you could go. Simple, no problems, no tickets for being sensible, and very few accidents. A traffic accident occurs in the US every six seconds today and there are an abundance of deaths and injuries due to accidents at stop lights and signs because people have been conditioned to not think, but rather just follow the directions. This is what government has been doing to us for years with our permission. We have given away our ability to think and reason for ourselves to our elected officials and local authority. In order to create a safe environment (we think) we have surrendered our freedom and ability to protect our families and property yet there is more injury and crime than ever. In doing this we have also created a monster of a government body that overwhelmingly takes our well earned money and squanders it foolishly and for what? For the sole purpose of perpetuating themselves. </p>
<p>What about this complicated system of taxation and collection? If you gave this as a problem to a class of fifth graders I bet they could arrive at a simple tax solution fair for all and acceptable to all. That’s how simple it really is. In fact, that is a challenge I would gladly give to our children today. You could take any problem that exists in the world today and the children of the world would solve it to the satisfaction of any reasonable person. Only those with egos and false pride would not agree. The honesty and pure unadulterated (not subverted and contaminated by an adult) thinking of a child will always trump the audacity of a fool. What we need is a think tank of five to ten year olds to revise and adjust our world. They deserve it since they are about to inherit huge debt and world problems created by us.</p>
<p>First of all if we cut the government to what it should be doing, it would only be a tiny fraction of what it is now both in personnel and cost. Secondly, our government employees, whatever the rank, should not make any more than the average other working person. The reward for dedication to country is satisfaction of a job well done and the admiration and respect of all. Teachers should all be respected and paid well by the people whose children are being taught. Unions and greed and entitlement mentality have created a body of youth that have no respect for teachers and a parental uninvolvement that subverts the education of our children and tenders it to the whims of government involvement.&nbsp; Government and unions have also subverted the spirit and incentives of those who still believe that if you work harder and smarter and can be more productive, you can earn more, save more, and have more. This is why so many try to start their own businesses and why small businesses comprise the largest work force in our country. It is because they understand that hard work can be rewarded. The American experiment is the envy of the world yet the spirit of capitalism is being subverted by our own government little by little.</p>
<p>Currently we have our government railing against the monetary control by unions regarding the manipulation of employees pay and benefits for the United Auto Workers. This is causing an inflated cost array that puts American workers and industry at a disadvantage with international competition, yet government employees are also unionized. How could this be? What ever incentivized the government employees to become unionized? If our government assumes that it understands employer/employee relationships so well, how did we get to this point? The original purpose of unions was to protect employees against greedy, dangerous, and thoughtless employment policies and practices. This only exemplifies that either our government as an employer fails to practice what it preaches and alienates its own employees with the same greed and thoughtlessness or is just plain stupid. I believe it is both. </p>
<p>Today we have the government throwing our money at the “problems” that seem to have reared their ugly heads suddenly with a propensity to bankrupt our country. There is nothing sudden about the problems. Moving from a secured currency, we immediately placed ourselves in a destabilized economy. Many believed that we would eventually be bitten in the butt by this move, and we have. Little by little we moved into even less secure currency and then into non-secured credit and credit trading to boot. Simple grade school economics would tell us that any major national incident could upset the house of cards that our government and finance mavens built. Worse yet the same people that allowed the country to get into the fix that we are in are still there, in congress, in industry, and on Wall Street now, inflatedly taking command of the “cure”. All puffed up and righteous they are attempting to fool us into more of the same as they bloviate and try to appear livid and spew out blame and invectives in an attempt to make themselves appear important, innocent, and useful. This is what our congress does; too much of nothing. I would challenge folks to watch your leaders in congress for one week instead of your favorite programs and you would see to a person that your government in action is a complete failure and congress is a house full of fools (that we&#8217;ve elected). It is always easy to pick out the few thoughtful, practical, intelligent individuals that shine with their idealistic and common sense views that never even get heard beyond the two minutes of explanation given to a mostly empty and unwatched house.</p>
<p>Today we are watching headline news indicating a&nbsp; complaint was filed against the governor of Illinois as he is embroiled in an attempt to sell president elect Obama’s empty senatorial seat for personal gain. This is just one instance of power brokering that exemplifies the state of our government. Is one to believe that this is an isolated situation? With the enormous amount of elected and appointed representation in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of local, state and federal government, you can be sure that what is happening in Illinois is commonplace in all phases of our over bloated government. The complicity of unions, dishonest industry moguls, news media, and Wall Street make the problem even greater. Who suffers? We do. </p>
<p>We have given ourselves up in trust to those who have and will continue to rape us; those who have raped our parents, and if we do nothing, will rape our children. We deserve the ability to work hard and earn at least a simple living in a safe environment without excessive taxation. We have forgotten the main rule, the KISS rule; Keep It Simple Stupid. What a bunch of idiots we have been, and if we fail to pay attention we will be condemned to continue down this road to the detriment of our children and grandchildren. My squash soup tells it all. It is simple and delicious, five ingredients cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everyone seems to like it, it is healthy, yet it is simple. Why not a government like that?<br />I’m going to go make some squash soup…comfort food&#8230;you figure it out.</p>

<p>Even Barack&#8217;s friends and acquaintances do not know who he is. Just read the following article written by&nbsp; <a href="http://www.forbes.com/opinions/2008/10/20/obama-chicago-election-oped-cx_re_1021epstein.html">Richard A. Epstein</a> Senior fellow at Stanford&#8217;s Hoover Institution and professor of law at the university of Chicago. Epstein&#8217;s article asserts:<span class="lingo_region">
<p>&#8220;[Barack Obama's] program has three<br />
key components, which, taken together, can convert a shaky financial<br />
situation into a global depression. The first of these is his anti-free<br />
trade attitude that loomed so large in the primaries. But even Obama<br />
cannot repeal the principle of comparative advantage. Any efforts to<br />
scuttle NAFTA, deny fast-track approval to other agreements, or limit<br />
outsourcing will not be as dramatic as the Smoot-Hawley tariff. But<br />
combined, they would act as a depressant on general economic growth.<br />
Everyone would suffer.</p>
<p>Second, Obama is committed to strengthening unions by his<br />
endorsement of the Employer Free Choice Act, a misnamed statute that<br />
forces union recognition without elections and employment contracts<br />
through mandatory arbitration thereafter. That one-two punch could tie<br />
up the very small businesses that Obama seems determined to help. Tax<br />
relief won&#8217;t work for firms that won&#8217;t get formed because a labor fight<br />
is not in their initial budget.</p>
<p>And third, he is in favor of progressive individual taxes and high<br />
corporate taxes. It is as though the U.S. does not have to compete for<br />
labor and capital in global markets. My fear is that with his strong<br />
egalitarian bent, he has not internalized the lesson that high rates do<br />
not offset declining revenues. </p>
<p>Thus, even before we get to the added bells and whistles of the<br />
modern welfare state&#8211;windfall profits taxes, ethanol subsidies, health<br />
care&#8211;an Obama administration could lock us into a downward spiral by<br />
ignoring the simple fundamentals of sound governance. Boy, does this<br />
stalwart libertarian ever hope that his friends are right and his<br />
gloomy prediction is wrong!&#8221;</p>
<p>As does many of us, Epstein seems to view Obama&#8217;s presidency as a crap shoot with our economy in the balance. If only Obama would firmly state his ideology and true intentions for his governance of this country we would all be able to make a more informed decision on election day.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This morning in an attempt to convince the American people<br />
that he is presidential, Barack Obama basically said that he is ready to<br />
protect us from terrorism, financial disaster, social ills, a John McCain presidency,<br />
and I’m sure he would have concluded warts, hail, frogs, and murrain. <span>&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Obama surrounded himself with an impressive entourage of<br />
experts whom he has been working with to learn about solutions to the current<br />
geopolitical problems the US<br />
faces and perhaps will face in the future. He claims all of the ideas and<br />
actions taken by the current government; the Iraqi stabilization, movement of<br />
troops, diplomatic gains with other countries, monetary bailout , etc. are all<br />
his ideas and that anything the government does and has been doing is due to<br />
his advice. Noticeably absent in the group was General Powell.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Obama basically said that McCain is lying about our<br />
finances, taxes, and the Obama social and financial ideology. <span>&nbsp;</span>Obama also dismissed the idea that Senator<br />
Biden put forth that his mettle would be tested by the despots of the world<br />
with a generated test against the US<br />
in the first 6 months of his administration. He claimed that Biden was prone to<br />
rhetorical flourish. Well…he should know because his entire political life has<br />
been rhetorical flourish. No substance. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As he lithely swims around all things of importance of<br />
yesterday and adjusts his rhetoric to meet what he believes the American people<br />
want to hear today, Obama finally admits (as he did this morning) that he does<br />
promote distribution of wealth and says that it is good for us as he tries to<br />
appeal to the poor, underprivileged, and needy voters by buying their votes<br />
with promise of money never had or earned.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We do not need “rhetorical flourish” as leadership in our<br />
nation today. We need experience, honesty, and real proven mettle to protect us<br />
and change the corrupt governmental system that we have inherited today through<br />
our own poor choices of the past in the voting booth.</p>

<p>Ignored by the main stream media and pooh poohed by liberals as not important and distracting, the facts are plain for all Americans to see. Although just one aspect of Barack Obama&#8217;s ideology, it is an important one which has been denied by Obama even though it has been fully vetted and exposed as factual by those who care.</p>
<p>The following are excerpts from Schaffly&#8217;s recent article:</p>
<p>&#8220;Ayers speaks openly of his desire to use America&#8217;s public school<br />
classrooms to train a generation of revolutionaries who will overturn<br />
the U.S. social and economic regime. He teaches that America is<br />
oppressive and unjust, socialism is the solution, and wealth and<br />
resources should be redistributed.</p>
<p> In Ayers&#8217;s course called &#8220;On Urban Education,&#8221; he calls for a<br />
&#8220;distribution of material and human resources.&#8221; His left-wing notions<br />
would be very compatible with those of Obama, who publicly told Joe the<br />
Plumber that we should &#8220;spread the wealth.&#8221;
</p>
<p> Ayers&#8217;s books are among the most widely used in America&#8217;s<br />
education schools. Ayers even uses science and math courses as part of<br />
his &#8220;transformative&#8221; political strategy to teach that the American<br />
economic system is unjust.&#8221;
</p>
<p>When coupled with his socialistic views on the economy and such statements as when he indicated his desire to sit down with such despots as Ahmadinejad or his reference to both sides being equally wrong regarding Georgia and Russia during the invasion, these aspects of Obama form a disturbing pattern. </p>
<p>Even if Obama insists that he does not harbor socialistic ideology (which I don&#8217;t believe he ever has denied), he exhibits it with his everyday actions and rhetoric. He certainly has exhibited it with his former mentors and associations and his marriage.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&nbsp;What more could frighten the American people than having the New York Times, Colin Powell, and a large portion of the liberal intellectual community endorse Barack Obama? </p>
<p>Most Americans do not read the New York Times and could care less what or whom they promote. They have proven over the years that although they employ a few good journalists, overall they are completely biased and corrupt and ineffectual as a news or opinion conduit.</p>
<p>Drawing on his emotional body, Colin Powell has somehow disconnected himself from his ability to to reason logically, something that he did for many years as a military leader. We will see this week in the news what the Iraqis feel about having been freed from a despot leader and allowed to live normally in a free society, without the constant threat of death or extinction. General Powell has forgotten America&#8217;s purpose to help downtrodden people and swept into the confusion and drama of this election, he has not done his homework. </p>
<p>Daily more information has been coming to the forefront regarding Obama&#8217;s ideology on government and society, and it is not pretty. Those who have mentored him and those who have given him a hand up have worse than questionable character and some are even &#8220;intellectuals&#8221; like professor Ayers. Obama is a great actor and he plays the role of presidential pretty well. As was indicated by Colin Powell, Obama <b>appears</b> &#8220;charismatic&#8221; and &#8220;transformational&#8221;. Sure, but to what effect? Ghandi was charismatic and transformational and it was great but so was Adolph Hitler. What is important is the substance and ideology of the purposed leader. Obama has already proven to be evasive and elusive regarding his short political career and even previous professional life. He did not grow up like most Americans whether black or white with any real adversity or need for hard work, and he gained his positions through the Chicago corrupt political theater. His record as a community leader is miserable. He cohorted with criminals to gain footing and he accomplished little or nothing. His congressional record regarding initiation of good for the nation, and voting record also, lacks any substance, and his alliances and passions for change keep changing as the political climate requires of him (as rev. Wright has said)</p>
<p>Most Americans are not intellectuals (thank God), and Americans are the most beneficent people in the world yet Obama would prefer to take our personal hard earned money and give it to the charities&nbsp; of his choice, not ours. In an already socialistic leaning government, the new bailout &#8220;recovery&#8221; coupled with re-distribution of an already distribution type tax structure and socialized health care, almost insures us of a European style socialistic government. Have you checked lately how many countries are in dire straights with healthcare, work ethics, economy, and entrepreneurship?</p>
<p>You can intellectualize the state of our nation and the state of our complicity in world affairs all day long but what we are in constant need of is regular old hard working action by common sense folks. </p>
<p>The American people want to be each others keeper and to be able to pursue life, liberty, and happiness with a government that serves us, not rules us. The more we give to government and enlarge its responsibility, the more we lose our freedoms. Most American people get out of bed every morning with a good outlook and go to work, provide for their family and help others. Some go to war. Obama represents those who would live off of the good will of the people. His economic plan would perpetuate poverty and the welfare society and would repress entrepreneurship and the desire for success as defined by the government.</p>
<p>There is no great choice for president this year but there is sure one lousy one. </p>
<p>Who knows, perhaps an unchecked Democratic government would be an interesting experiment. Presidents Pelosi and Reed are chomping at the bit right now. The results would be immediate. So who cares who endorses Obama or McCain, The American people must think about the results of this election and who would better serve them.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a quote attributed to Barry Goldwater Jr. because that is where I heard it last week. The statement was from Mr. Goldwater, as part of a TV interview, in reference to the economic breakdown of our nation now ensuing. I believe it to be <i><b>right on the money</b></i>.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;ve had a lot of dogs and some of them were trained not to go on the table and/or not to eat until commanded so, and they did well&nbsp; but let me tell you. <i><b>Not one of them wouldn&#8217;t steal that food off of the table if they were left unwatched or long enough to get real hungry.</b></i> Such is the case with a money hungry congress. </p>
<p>Whoever becomes the next president of our nation must help us to retain our own money and keep it out of the control of the congress.<br />Why should we ever believe that our elected representatives know better how to spend our money than we do? We hear repeatedly that income taxes, license fees, tolls, sales taxes, and many other duns are for the benefit of the people. All intended to get our money that most of us have worked hard to earn. That money pays for those beautiful buildings in Washington, the fancy meals for our representatives, those millions of government employees, and much more to the tune of trillions of dollars while we eat baloney sandwiches and patch our pants.</p>
<p>Whatever made us give up watching the dogs has careened into an out of control government and economy. If there is one thing we can do this election cycle, it is to at least vote for the candidates who are for less taxes, smaller government, elimination of entitlement programs, and non-essential spending.</p>
<p>Why tempt the dogs by even putting all that money on the table?</p>

<p>As unpopular as Paul is, he continues to invoke a lot of common sense in understanding the state of our economy. Rep. Paul will today confront Fed chairman Ben Bernanke regarding the &#8220;bailout package&#8221;. Hopefully he will be heard as the complex financial woes are struggled with.</p>

<p>If you live by credit it is easy to fail by credit. Credit is a risk that is an inherent part of our human evolution. Unfortunately everybody is suffering for the risks that some have taken. The proposed bailout will not work unless it is accompanied by oversight, adherence to rules, and &lt;strong&gt;the education of our nation that will change the way we live and do business&lt;/strong&gt;</p>
<p>When speaking of mortgages, credit, fuel prices, environmental outlooks, food supply, freedom, trade, immigration, or war, market forces are in play. Market forces have always been in play as we have developed as a people. Science, philosophy, religion, and business have enveloped our thinking and reasoning. This evolution of thought has created symbiotic relationships between supply and demand. As we left the farm and its autonomy for the cities we became industrialized, scientific, and commercialized. We also have become more and more dependent on each other for supply as each demand was created.</p>
<p>Certainly trade and barter existed among even the most prehistoric man, perhaps only as greed and desire for the earliest. Before our nation was developed, world trade existed with minerals, spices, and even humans. These market forces created envy, greed, and even war. These forces exist today just as basic as, and more dominant than ever. The addition of sales and marketing agents have become a prevailing and controlling factor as commodity trading affects the value of our money.</p>
<p>Market forces represent a true will of the people. As our perceived needs develop, so the market responds to fill the need. Entrepreneurs rise to creatively provide what others think they want. Sales people create illusion of need to breach the gap between manufacturer and the masses. Inventors and innovators develop new ways and means to excite the public and manufacturing sectors. Scientists envision new horizons of drugs, communication, and outer space that titillate our dreamy thoughts of perfect health and forever ongoingness. This, all because we want more and more.</p>
<p>What once was neighbors supplying to each other what the other didn’t have for trade or money, has become a global dependency with nations providing what other nations want. Originally a person would provide a service or product with their skills and knowledge, figure out what it cost them to provide that, add in what was needed to continue to provide it plus a reasonable profit and this was the price. When product in abundance was needed to supply the city markets and industry, auctioneers, then brokers and traders came into being to handle the large transactions. Credit was established based on trust and then companies were formed to control the trade of credit. These businesses which started in barns are now mostly conducted on Wall Street and other world exchanges. As people became more unscrupulous and/or reckless, indiscreet risk became the norm.[ "gambling"].&nbsp; The price of goods and services is based on the demand and basically greed by the handlers who make their money with their trades. If a product is in demand while supply is short, the traders can sell the product to the highest bidder competing for the goods, getting a larger percentage of the profit while transferring a larger profit to the provider as well. The cost of manufacture hasn’t necessarily gone up although the end price to the consumer has. </p>
<p>These are all market forces and these are the kind of forces that drive our economy and now find us in the quandaries of housing loss, job loss, global pollution, homeland security risk, human rights debacles, quality of life issues, and the threat to our savings and freedom. </p>
<p>Although market forces are a part of human evolution, it is because we have made it so. Not individually, but collectively, we have trusted our money and our nation to those who we believed were working in business and our elected government in our best interests. It is obvious they have been duping and failing us or have little foresight. That is why we are in this dilemma.</p>
<p>There was a time, even during my lifetime, when we as a nation were proud to say that we could exist autonomously; a time when we could provide all of the natural resources necessary to run our country. Only Brazil could lay claim to the same. Could this happen again? Yes. As a people, we want to remain free, we want an unpolluted environment, and we want an excellent quality of life. Market forces have been for years, due to public outcry, creating cleaner manufacturing and fuel production practices. We have the best and cleanest technology in the world. Innovators and inventors are, and have been, creating new technology for alternative clean energy that is now starting to be produced. We need to take what oil and gas we need from our earth and ocean floor to immediately relieve us of the threat to our freedom and quality of life. We need to open our doors to free trade that will enable us to sell our products to other countries without unfair tariff impositions. We must keep an eye on those traders who would manipulate our markets with buy and sell schemes that inflate prices and deflate our dollars.</p>
<p>Anyone who has watched our congress and senate in action can easily see that it is a failed system full of bloated egos with not a lick of sense among them. A bunch of lawyers who are so tied up in their own legal jargon and and intricate contortions that they can’t get anything accomplished except to create a bigger and more expensive government with fingers in more of our lives. We must speak up now for what we want and know is right. We must support those few in positions of power who are saying and doing what is best for us.</p>
<p>We must reduce our dependency on credit, support those businesses that prop up a free and healthy economy while producing with integrity, promoting fairness, providing employment and well being for our nation. Let the evolution of market forces dictate the will of the people. Those who wish to manipulate and take advantage of the good will of the people of the United States will be routed with&nbsp; good investigation and reporting, and failure, and those who wish to participate will reap the rewards of good stewardship of our country,our money, and our world.</p>
